Antonov Airlines
ANTONOV Aeronautical Scientific/Technical Complex was founded in 1946 by Oleg Antonov, the eminent aircraft designer.
By the late 1960s, Antonov ASTC diversified their business to include an oversized cargo service using the Antonov An-22. It was with the huge Antonov An-124, however, that Antonov Airlines really made its name.
In total, the airline operates a fleet of seven An124, one An-22, two An-12s, one An-74 and one An-225 - the world's largest commercial aircraft.
