50 years after the first flight of Gulfstream's original Rolls-Royce-engined business aircraft, the GI, Rolls-Royce chartered an AN124-100 to deliver a brand new powerplant to its customer.

The BR725 will be the exclusive engine for Gulfstream's new flagship corporate jet, the G650, and is the most advanced member of the BR700 engine series.

The first flight test engine was loaded at East Midlands Airport for transport to the US testing facility in Nashville, TN.
